With the cricket season well under way and the festive season behind us there are two major club activities fast approaching. The Mcgrath Foundation's Pink Stumps Day which is held on Saturday the 18th of February and our Annual Trivia Night to be held on Friday the 2nd of March.
For Pink Stumps Day last year, Smithfield RSL Cricket Club raised approximately $1500 that we donated to The Mcgrath Foundation and hope this year to do better.
We will be knocking in the Pink Stumps and donning the Pink hats this year on Saturday the 18th of Feb at Brennan Park No.1 and are having a BBQ at approximately 3pm to get the ball rolling with the fundraising and everyone is welcome.
Our Trivia night is on again and will be held in the Kokoda and Long Tan rooms at the RSL on Friday the 2nd of March. Tickets are $10 and are available very soon. We are looking forward to a fun evening and will be including our Pink Ballon raffle again to raise money for the Mcrgath Foundation in conjunction with Pink Stumps Day. Hope to see as many people as we can fit in this year.
